Eyewitness accounts of the San Saba massacre of March 16, 1758 in Texas by Comanches. This disaster caused Spain to give up on bringing the Plains Indians into the Mission system, and the Comanches and Apaches roamed free for another century. Prospectus laid in. Bookplate of Beatrice Nathan and tape residue on fromt pastedown, and very slightly rubbed. Overall, a Near Fine copy, now in a clear mylar protective jacket.
