This is an ORIGINAL candid still photograph from the Irish set of "MACKINTOSH MAN", a 1973 Warner Brothers film, directed by John Huston and starring Paul Newman, Dominique Sanda and James Mason. SIGNED in ink at the upper lefthand corner by Director John Huston. This is a candid still glossy black and white photograph taken in front of "O'Donovans Bar" (specially constructed in the fishing village near Galway, Ireland) and shows both director Huston and star Newman in casual conversation with other members of the crew. John Huston (1906-1987) had become an Irish citizen and lived for many years on his estate, St. Clerans, near Galway. At the bottom of the picture is a descriptive snipe.
