This is an ORIGINAL program (Playbill) for the 1949 London West End production of Arthur Miller's "DEATH OF A SALESMAN", directed by Elia Kazan and starring Paul Muni as Willy Loman, Katherine Alexander as Linda, Frank Maxwell as Happy and Kevin McCarthy as Biff. Laid in is a light gray leaf SIGNED in ink by Paul Muni ("Good Wishes / Paul Muni / 1958"). 6 pages including the illustrated stapled wrappers. 5 1/4" x 8". Vintage advertisements.The London production at The Phoenix Theatre on Charing Cross Road, opened on July 28, 1949 and ran for 204 performances. Paul Muni (1895-1967) was a widely respected stage and screen actor. He won an Oscar for "The Story of Louis Pasteur" and a Tony for "Inherit The Wind".
