Illustrated from eight (8) photographs made before the 1906 earthquake and fire, showing the interior of Original Coppa's Restaurant and its fabled murals. Coppa's was a center of San Francisco's bohemian life of the time. Its customers included Porter Garnett, Gelett Burgess, George Sterling, Jack London, Xavier Martinez (Artist Martinez contributed the unbroken line of prowling cats on the walls next to the ceiling), Maynard Dixon and many others.
