Hollywood: William Fox, 1926. First Edition. This is a lot of three (3) ORIGINAL movie still photographs for the movie "WHAT PRICE GLORY", the 1926 Raoul Walsh directed World War I United States Marine Corps film. The sourcework was the sucessful play by Laurence Stallings and Maxwell Anderson. The film starred Edmund Lowe, Victor McLaglen, Dolores Del Rio and Phyllis Haver. Most of the servicemen extras in the movie were actural WWI veterans, including 18 Marines who fought in the battle of Belleau Wood. The photographs show: (1) Phyllis Haver as "Shanghai Mabel" standing in front of interested Marines (Note the USMC emblem on the campaign covers); (2) Victor McLaglen as "Captain Quirt" comforting a wounded Marine; and, (3) Victor McLaglen romancing Dolores Del Rio as "Charmaine". The photographs have some edgewear and are a bit rubbed from handling; still, Very Good Plus overall and now in a clear 4mil mylar protective envelope. FREE SHIPPING.
