His last project was the development of a water supply for an arid area of San Diego County, including Lake Henshaw, constructed at Warner's Ranch. This book is the history of Warner's Ranch, from the Native Americans through the Californios and the ownership of pioneer J. J. Warner to Mr. Henshaw's acquisition in 1911 and development.
