Hollywood: Paramount Pictures, 1921. First Edition. This is an ORIGINAL reference photograph, taken on the set of "AFFAIRS OF ANATOL", The 1921 Paramount Pictures, Cecil B. DeMille silent film with an all star cast, including Wallace Reid, Gloria Swanson, Bebe Daniels, Agnes Ayres, Monte Blue, Polly Moran and others. Black and White, glossy finish. 8" x 10". Extensive handwriting on the verso. The photograph shows, left to right, Theodore Roberts, Wallace Reid, Wanda Hawley, Elliot Dexter, Cecil B. DeMille and Raymond Hatton. In 1919, Wallace Reid was injured while making "The Valley of the Giants", and was given morphine, which set him on the path of drug addiction. He continued to star in movies, but died prematurly at age 31 in 1923. A Very Good copy (well rubbed from handling; edgewear), and now in a clear 4mil mylar protective envelope.
