A play about the California Gold Rush, authored by Author/Illustrator/Banker Alonzo Delano, an argonaut who wrote under the name, "Old Block" (Old Block's Sketch Book. Zamorano 80, #29). Delano was a prominent citizen of early Grass Valley, California. He was held in such high esteem, that when he died in 1874, flags were lowered to half-mast.
