JAM TOMORROW. David MAGEE.

JAM TOMORROW

Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1941. First Edition. 308 pages. First Edition. SIGNED/INSCRIBED in ink by Author Magee on front free endpaper, "For Isabel Norris with best wishes / David Magee". The late David Magee was a well-known and respected San Francisco bookseller and publisher, known for his wit and integrity. Octavo. Cloth, with paper label cover and spine titling. From the jacket, "Comedy by an Anglo-American who knows the foibles of both his fatherlands". Magee is also the author of "Infinite Riches" concerning his life in the book trade in San Francisco. There was a small sharp hole in the spine which penetrated the dust jacket and the spine of the book. This has been repaired, but I will rate the copy and the dust jacket as Very Good for this reason alone. Without the repair, this would be a Near Fine copy in a Very Good plus or better (some edgewear at the spine ends). Now in a clear mylar protective sleeve. Always FREE SHIPPING via media mail to any United States address. Item #479
